Artillery Rocket Electronic Time Fuze

The AR174 is an Electronic Time Artillery Rocket Fuze
that is widely compatible with all calibers. This safe and
reliable fuze has a simple cable remote time setting as well
as a settable point detonation.

COMPATIBILITY

With fin-stabilized artillery rockets with calibers of: 2.75”, 110mm, 122mm, 140mm, 160mm, 228mm, 280mm, 290mm 300mm. To be used with: high explosive (HE) and cargo-type warheads (AT/AP mains and sub-munitions, illuminating, or smoke).

SETTING SYSTEM

Fuze is remotely set by cable which is linked to the fuze setter located at the fire control system position. Fuze is settable from 10 to 199.9 seconds, in 0.1second increments.

ACCURACY

Higher than 0.1 seconds.

POWER SUPPLY

Air driven (turbine) alternator.

ARMING

Arming of the fuze occurs only after two independent conditions are sensed: • Set back forces for a 1.2 seconds minimum duration. • Sustained air flow.
